Are you guys getting my posts? No? Me either! I mean, they are all in my head, or saved in the notes app on my phone, but finding the time to sit down and write a blog post has been challenging lately. Every week I’m ready with a 12-minute workout, yet Wednesday comes and goes. I have several Sunday posts drafted, but again, each Sunday flies by without a post. Where does the time go?
I’ll tell you! Self-betterment is a full time job! This year I’ve been laser focused on self-improvement, spiritual exploration, and trying launch a side hustle that is such a stark contrast to my current profession and expertise that I’m spending all my free time researching, studying and taking online classes. Between podcasts, books, meditation, education, and making time to snuggle up next to my hubby, the blog posts remain exclusively in my head. Oh, did I mention I still have my day job!
One of the many posts I have currently writing in my head is another treadmill workout with complimenting playlist. You can find the first one here. But, I’ve been struggling with it. I love the songs, but I couldn’t get the cadence right, and I kept adding songs that motivate me in all aspects of my life, not just on the treadmill. So, during my workout this morning, I decided to share a playlist of songs that motivate me in and out of the gym, and let it inspire you to move however you wish. My favorite new morning ritual is to meditate for 10 minutes followed by a a song that gets me up dancing like an idiot in the privacy of my own bedroom, or hotel room. 🙂
One of my favorite quotes is:

Dance like nobody’s watching,
and live like it’s heaven on earth.
If you were to bear witness to my morning dance routines, or catch me singing at the top of my lungs, proudly tone-deft while driving, you would know, with certainty, I live this quote fully. In truth, there is no room for sadness, fear or self-doubt when you are dancing and singing like a fool. Try it! I dare you.
The playlist is 41 minutes long. Just enough time to accomplish a solid, heart-pumping, calorie-burning, smile on your face workout! Each song is intended to motivate you to not only move, but also, take on the world. If I had a soundtrack to my life right now, this would be it!
